What is Workers’ Compensation?
- Workers Compensation is State regulated, designed to cover work-related injuries, diseases, or illness. Pays for Medical treatment and compensates employees for some lost wages.
- Workers’ Compensation covers injuries that arise out of and in the course and scope of employment while a worker furthers the affairs of the employer.
- Must notify your supervisor and submit an injury report within 24 hours of incident.
This is not Disability Insurance or Health Insurance Coverage.
To use for non work-related injuries is fraud.
