Congratulations to the Newman Smith Robotics Team.
The Team, competing at BEST UIL State Robotics Competition last week, placed 15th among Texas 5A-6A teams.
That is a strong finish considering the best secondary robotics teams in Texas competed at the event recently in Frisco.
A total of seventy-three teams from Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona also competed at this event.
NSHS’s team finished second among Dallas UIL schools .
The team is coached by Science/Engineering Pathway Teacher Meaghan Delong.
