CFBISD Teachers and Staff Committed to Continuous Learning
School is off to a great start in CFBISD. That great start began months ago through extensive professional development for our teachers and staff. “Success in the classroom begins with a strong professional development program. In CFBISD, we are committed to continuous learning,” said Superintendent Dr. Bobby Burns. Many parents and community members may not know that teachers and staff spend their summers learning and preparing for the school year. This past summer, CFBISD offered a two-week Learn More Achieve More (LMAM) Conference at R.L. Turner High School. The LMAM Conference featured nationally-recognized education leaders and more than 400 sessions that staff could choose to expand their knowledge and skills. 1,811 staff members attended the LMAM Conference over the two-weeks.
