The Benefits Department has four dedicated employees who provide valuable customer service for insurance to approximately 4500 eligible CFBISD employees. This committed department has a combined 96 years of work experience within education, insurance and other industry related fields.
“Our goal in Benefits and Risk Management is to increase safety and wellness awareness and to provide the best possible environment for our students, employees and community,” Kim Graham, Coordinator of Benefits and Risk Management, says. “We are here to assist and be a resource for all employees and their families so that they can continue to positively impact students every day.”
The main department functions include:
- Increasing safety and wellness awareness;
- Assisting employees with insurance enrollment, claims, investments & retirement;
- Ensuring quality care and recovery from work related injuries;
- Providing federal, state and local reporting.
Additionally, Benefits works with over 30 different third party administrators, consultants, insurance carriers and agencies, service providers and government agencies to bring the best in coverage and service to CFBISD.
