Sack Summer Hunger 2019Sack Summer Hunger is a program that distributes nutritious, easy-to-prepare meals to students during the nine weeks of summer. This program, designed by Metrocrest Services, who in conjunction with area churches, supports local families in our community. If a child qualifies for free or reduced school meals, they qualify for the Sack Summer Hunger program.

Program begins Jun. 8 – Aug. 3.

How to register

  • Visit Metrocrest Services at 13801 Hutton Dr., #150, Farmers Branch, TX
  • Register between Apr. 15 and May 20
  • Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 4 PM
  • Saturday 9:30 AM – Noon

Required documents

  • Proof of identity for each household member: Driver License or picture ID, Social Security Card or birth certificates for all children 18 or younger.
  • Proof of residence: current lease, mortgage statement, current utility bill, or a letter from who you are staying with
  • Proof of income: unemployment letter, last 30 days of pay stubs from current or previous job, Social Security letter, food stamps letter, bank statement, or anything else that shows proof of income
