The Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District (CFBISD) received a “A” for “Superior Achievement” under Texas’ School FIRST financial accountability rating system. The Superior Achievement rating is the state’s highest, demonstrating the quality of CFBISD’s financial management and reporting system.
“CFBISD is proud to have earned another ‘A’ rating for our sound fiscal management,” said Tonya Tillman, Associate Superintendent of Business Services. “This rating demonstrates that CFBISD is focused on high achievement for each student as well as being good stewards of taxpayer money. In our strategic plan, objective 3 is to continuously improve operational effectiveness and this ‘A’ rating aligns with that objective.”
The School FIRST accountability rating system assigns one of four financial accountability ratings to Texas school districts, with the highest being “Superior Achievement,” followed by “Above-Standard Achievement,” “Standard Achievement” and “Substandard Achievement.”
