Congratulations to NSHS Social Studies Teacher Angela Hardy for recently completing a prestigious U.S. State Department Fellowship in The Kingdom of Morocco.
The fellowship, part of the Teachers for Global Classroom program, selected Hardy to join a fifteen member cohort group of educators for two weeks of extensive fieldwork in Morocco in North Africa.
The fieldwork involved university seminars, meetings with educators from various countries, and teaching assignments at a school in Taroudant, Morocco.
Taroudant is a Moroccan city located in the southern part of the country.
The program was administered via the Washington, D.C. based educational non-profit International Research and Exchange Board and the U.S. State Department.
Hardy completed the program this past February.
