DECA Members Ace District Competition
R. L. Turner High School DECA Members ace District at Jan. 20 competition. DECA is an international association of high school and college students and teachers of marketing, management and entrepreneurship in business, finance, hospitality, and marketing sales and service.
In the competition, twenty RLT DECA members took an academic test and wrote business proposals. Additionally, the Lions acted out business role-play scenarios and presented their work to a panel of judges. The judging panel is composed of business professionals.
By the end of the competition, the Turner Lions walked away with 100% wins across the board. Each of the 20 students won in their events and will be moving on to compete at the State Career Development Conference in February.
