CHS Wrestling Takes State Runner-Up
CHS Wrestling Takes State Runner-Up for 2018. The Creekview High School Boys’ Wrestling team travelled to El Paso to compete in the UIL-5A Boys Dual State Championships. The competition was held at at Del Valle High School. The top 16 teams according to last year’s state tournament standings are invited to this prestigious event. After a day filled with intense battles and fighting through adversity, Creekview Wrestling finished as the State Runner-Up. Standout performances came from James Yarbro and Isaiah Ayala who both finished the day with a 4-0 record. These athletes as they have been preparing for years for this level of competition. Results are as follows:
