Mission Statement – Records Management

Records Management - Mission StatementCarrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District is required to make, preserve and safeguard records (regardless of media or characteristics) that document school district functions, policies, procedures and decisions and those that protect the legal and financial rights of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District. To ensure that records of the district are properly managed, the Records Management Center will assist departments and administrative offices in identifying and standardizing records retention/disposition practices. The Records Management Center will monitor departmental adherence to approved records management policies and procedures in order to ensure compliance with the Texas Library and Archives Commotion by promoting a systematic and uniform disposition of the district’s vital records.
