Davis Holds Hurricane Harvey Donation Drive

Davis Elementary held a Hurricane Harvey donation drive in late September. Students and staff collected new packaged underwear, socks, toiletries, diapers, and dog/cat food for the families displaced by Hurricane Harvey. In addition to boxes of supplies, $369 in cash was also donated. The drive was organized by counselor Neeti Prasad. Metrocrest Services, a non-profit organization in the CFB community, helps children and families in our area in times of need. They have also been helping with displaced Houston families that have come to the CFB area. Campuses throughout the district have held donation drives to replenish the pantry at Metrocrest Services.
