Blalack & Polk Middle School students tried out our new Makerspace this week! CFB’s STEM “Middle School Matters” project was funded through a grant from LBJ Express. A Makerspace is a place where students can gather to create, invent, tinker, explore and discover using a variety of tools and materials. This room will be open in January before school and teachers will be able to check it out during the school day to bring classes in. We are looking forward to lots of creativity and learning in this new space.
