Homebound services will be provided for 1 week in your home followed by 5 weeks in a classroom
Week 1: Homebound visits must be set up ASAP to maintain good attendance and have a chance to meet in your home before you are required to come to our classroom the next week.
Week 2 – 6: Students will attend two, 2-hour sessions each week in order to get 100% attendance.
4 hours of attendance = 1 week of school.
Advantages include:
- Atmosphere more conducive to learning and getting assignments completed
- Prepare to return to school with more work completed
- Fewer absences while away from school
- Textbooks available
- Computers with Internet and printing capabilities
- Graphing calculators
- Full two hours of instruction each day
9:00 to 11:00:
Mondays and Wednesdays – R. L. Turner and Ranchview students
Tuesdays and Thursdays – Creekview and Smith students
Grimes and Early College students – the day of your home school
4 Students are allowed in the classroom at one time, so scheduling will be necessary. If one session is full, you may be required to come on a different set of days until an opening is available.
Transportation will be available to those that do not have a ride.
- Your baby MUST ride in the car seat provided on the bus
- The transportation department will let you know what time you will be picked up
- Transportation is ONLY available on the day your school is scheduled to attend
- Transportation follows a strict schedule – if you are not ready, they will leave you!
- If you do not call when you are not riding the bus, you will be dropped after 2nd missed bus
- You will be marked absent if you miss the bus and do not make up the missed time
This is a classroom to better allow you to get your work completed. It would be easier for you if you were able to come without your baby; although, you may bring your baby if necessary. You will need to bring everything the baby will need during your class time, including a carrier or bounce seat to put them in while you work. We will not have any baby supplies in the classroom.

Semana 1:
Toda visita a domicilio se deberá programar cuanto antes para mantener buena asistencia escolar y para tener oportunidad de reunirnos en tu domicilio antes de que tengas que presentarte en nuestro salón la semana siguiente. Durante esta semana tenemos que recibir de tu médico comprobante de que te dio de alta para que asistas a la clase.

Semanas 2 – 6:
Las estudiantes asistirán a dos sesiones de dos horas cada una cada semana para obtener 100% de asistencia.
4 horas de asistencia = 1 semana de clases en la escuela
Las ventajas:
- Atmósfera más apta para aprender y para terminar tus labores
- Te prepara para volver a la escuela habiendo ya completado muchos de tus trabajos
- Menos faltas escolares mientras vuelves a clase en la escuela
- Tenemos libros de texto
- Tendrás computadoras con Internet e impresora
- Tendrás calculadoras gráficas
- Dos horas completas de instrucción cada día
9:00 a 11:00:
Lunes y Miércoles – estudiantes de R, L. Turner y Ranchview
Martes y Jueves – estudiantes de Creekview y Smith
Estudiantes de Grimes y Early College – el día para tu escuela domiciliaria
Solo se aceptan 4 estudiantes en el salón a la vez, así es que es necesario programar las clases. Si se llena una sesión, podrías tener que venir en días diferentes a los de tu escuela hasta que haya cupo.
Se ofrecerá transporte escolar a quien no tenga forma de llegar.
- Tu bebé DEBERÁ usar el asiento especial para infantes que tienen los transportes
- El Departamento de transportación te avisará a qué hora te recogerán
- SOLO habrá transporte escolar para el día programado para tu escuela
- Los transportes siguen un horario exacto – si no estás lista, ¡te dejan!
- Si te deja el transporte por no estar lista se considerará una falta escolar, a menos que repongas ese tiempo.
Este es un salón adecuado para que puedas trabajar y completar tus asignaturas más fácilmente. Sería más fácil para ti si no trajeras al bebé, pero si no tienes opción, puedes traerlo. Necesitarás cargar con lo que el bebé necesite, incluyendo un portabebés o sillita para el bebé mientras trabajas. No tenemos artículos de bebé en el salón.
