Parents, thank you so much for attending Meet the Teacher on Thursday night! We believe we had more attendees this year than any other year!

  • Communication – The district has transitioned to a new communication company: ParentSquare. Be on the lookout for new communication abilities between the school and
    parents, students, and community members.
  • Chromebooks – All Chromebooks have been distributed to students. Parents, please read over the district guidelines for use and care.
    • News Flash – Don’t leave Chromebooks in cars for long periods of time. We had a melted Chromebook this morning due to sitting in a hot car over the weekend.
  • Grades – This Friday marks the end of the first progress report period. Progress Reports will go home on Wednesday of next week, 9/12.
    • Please follow the link below for Parent Self Serve to view your child’s grades and progress.
  • TEA has released our school and district report cards. The students and staff at DWP did a fantastic job last school year! Overall, we achieved an 86 out of 100 overall score and earned all seven distinctions given by TEA! See for yourself!
